In-person intensives held at Kanuga Conference Center
Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC. is one of the best conference center settings in the U.S. It is located on a 1400-acre campus in the North Carolina mountains with a lake, hiking trails, tennis courts, and good accommodations with many fireplaces and rocking chairs.
Attendance Policy: If illness or personal circumstances prevent you from attending an Intensive, you can make up that attendance requirement by attending the Summer Dream Conference and writing up and submitting to your mentor reports on each of the keynote presentations. We are no longer able to Zoom in participants to large or small group events at the Intensives (cohorts may choose to include members via Zoom, but this does not meet graduation requirements). You may miss one of six Intensives, making it up at the SDC, and still graduate. The recordings of large group presentations and their accompanying handouts can be found on the Resource page. If you miss an Intensive you are expected to have listened to these recordings.
COVID Protocols: During the pandemic, Haden required testing, vaccinations and wearing of masks for in-person attendance. We are now asking attendees to be guided by the principle of being careful to protect yourself and others. If you are suspicious you might have Covid, please test. If you test positive, do not attend. If you are already in attendance, please isolate yourself. Up to date vaccinations are encouraged. Mask wearing in close quarters is encouraged. We are asking each cohort to reach a consensus about meeting spaces and masking.
