In the interest of protecting participants and staff all persons attending Haden events at Kanuga and Mt Carmel will be required to be fully vaccinated. Procedures concerning the wearing of masks will be determined at each event based on the most current information, so we will all need to be flexible.

Practice and Presence: Honing Our Craft as Spiritual Directors

Presented by Megan Lyon & Brian Relph

(for plaque and certificate recipients of the Haden Institute Spiritual Direction Course)

December 3rd - 5th, 2021
3:00 pm on Friday through lunch on Sunday

As spiritual directors, we are privileged to companion others on their spiritual journey, to hold and honor our directees’ stories, struggles, joys and transformations. One of the greatest gifts we can offer our directees is our continued focus on our own growth and development as spiritual directors. This enables us to show up for our directees with renewed enthusiasm, sharper skills, and a balance of confidence and humility.

Please join us for this post-graduate course focused on honing our craft as spiritual directors. During this time together, we will have opportunities to observe live demonstration sessions by experienced directors, bring our full attention and presence to our own practice sessions, learn strategies for protecting our energy and cultivating intentional self-care, and to honor the sacredness of the work we do.

The course is open to all who have received a plaque and certificate in the Haden Institute Spiritual Direction Training course.

Cost of the program is $300 tuition plus room and board at Kanuga, including two nights lodging and six meals.

A link for Kanuga lodging registration will be sent to you in advance of the program weekend.
