Mens Retreat Weekend 2018
At Kaunga November 30 - December 2nd
The Retreat is open to all men who are interested —
there is no requirement to have previously attended a Haden Institute program.
(Registration Form Below)
The weekend program is offered in response to a desire for men in the Haden Institute community to spend some time together and share both challenges and strengths in the evolving culture.
Allen Proctor invited Pittman McGehee to lead this retreat because he has a wealth of experience working with men of all ages in analysis and counseling. Pittman is a well known, and much beloved, Haden Institute faculty member.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MAN IN THE 21st CENTURY?
2pm Friday–Sunday afternoon

This retreat will be a rich combination of lecture, discussion and small group work. In our lifetime, we have experienced a huge shift in the paradigm of the masculine and the feminine. We will look closely at the archetypes of the masculine and the feminine and how they influence what it means to be a man. We will examine the contra-sexual archetype in men which Jung called the “anima.” It is said men are not very adept at being authentic... come and prove them wrong!
Cost of the program is $300 registration plus room and board at Kanuga, which includes two nights lodging and six meals. Single room cost -- $298 Double room cost --$222.
A link for Kanuga registration will be sent to you in advance of the program weekend.
